STCS (Security Technology & Communication Systems) first official day of business was August 26^th, 1991. Our primary focus was security systems and telecommunications products i.e. business phone systems. Our focus has always been on attention to detail, quality products and affordable prices and expert service.

1994 ushered in a shift in our business model; we began to focus our attention on Information Technology. We produced our first branded PC in 1995 the “MediaStar” and began to provide onsite customer service for all PC’s sold with the MediaStar name. We experience tremendous growth in the IT sector and decided to eliminate the Intrusion detection portion of our business and focus on IT.

In the spring of 1997 we created a new division dedicated to meet the demands of our computer customers; STCS Computer Services Div. was born, by the fall of 1997 we had launched our company web site; which has grown into a successful e-commerce and customer support site.

Today STCS provides network installation and support services to our entire client base. We also provide technology solutions of all types for small, medium and large businesses as well as technology consulting to the education sector for such organizations as the Detroit Public schools, and Wayne State University College of Education. We are a complete technology solution provider; we maintain partnerships with Intel, AMD, HP, Linksys, Soyo, Kreateck POS, Western Digital, and many more.
